WELLNESS OVERALL

At Wellness Overall, our mission is to empower individuals from all walks of life by fostering overall wellness, physical fitness, mental strength, and self-reassurance. We are dedicated to helping people regain confidence, take control of their health, and develop the necessary tools to feel safe, strong, and complete again.  Through structured programs in fitness, self-defense, situational awareness, and empowerment training, we provide a safe and inclusive space where individuals regardless of background, profession, or personal challenges can rebuild their strength, improve their well-being, and thrive.


Domestic Violence Support & Recovery Through Wellness.

A specialized program for survivors of domestic violence.  Embracing self-defense, wellness, and fitness is a crucial pathway to reclaiming power and autonomy. Engaging in self-defense training not only provides practical techniques to protect oneself, but it also instills a renewed sense of confidence and control, reinforcing the belief that one is capable of safeguarding their own well-being. In addition, the physical benefits of fitness contribute significantly to improved mental health; regular exercise releases endorphins, which help alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression often associated with traumatic experiences. This holistic approach to wellness creates an environment where survivors can rebuild their self-esteem and mental resilience, equipping them with the necessary tools to recognize and respond to potential threats in their environment.


Fitness & Strength Training
Designed for individuals of all fitness levels, our strength training and conditioning programs help participants improve their physical health, endurance, and overall well-being.


We believe that true wellness is more than just physical fitness.  It is the balance of mental, emotional, and physical health. Our goal is to help individuals reclaim their sense of self, regain control over their bodies and minds, and build the confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges. Whether overcoming personal hardships, such as domestic violence, or simply seeking a healthier lifestyle, we equip our participants with the knowledge, strength, and support system they need to move forward.

SELF DEFENSE

Self-defense is essential because it equips individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Being aware, alert, and attentive in one's environment allows for quick recognition of threats and the ability to respond effectively, reducing the risk of harm. This heightened sense of security not only improves personal safety but also contributes to peace of mind, as it empowers individuals to move through the world with confidence and reduced fear.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Strength training is beneficial for your health as it helps build and maintain muscle mass, which is essential for overall strength and mobility, especially as you age. It also improves bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis, and enhances metabolic function, aiding in weight management and reducing the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes. Additionally, strength training supports better joint health, improves posture, and can boost mental well-being by reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression.

KICKBOXING & BOXING

Kickboxing and Boxing is an excellent cardiovascular workout, as it combines intense bursts of movement, such as punches and kicks, with periods of active rest, helping to improve endurance, burn calories, and strengthen the heart. Additionally, it teaches practical self-defense techniques, equipping you with the skills to protect yourself in real-life situations by improving reflexes, coordination, and the ability to effectively respond to threats.
